After a difficult solo debut that involved being denied opportunities to appear on TV, Jay Park and former label JYP Entertainment have reconciled their differences.
From a cancelled role in the hit drama Secret Garden to getting denied an award at one of the music shows despite fans realizing he should have won, with the release of Jay Park's upcoming new single he will officially be returning on stage.
The move comes 1 week after Jay Park left a heartfelt apology to JYP and former group 2PM over the issues he caused with his departure.
The Korea Federation of Mass Culture and Art Industry revealed "former member of 2PM, Jay Park has left the team due to the mistakes of the past and brought worry and disappointment to many people that loved him, but now with a new family entertainment company, his activities will start as a solo artist."
In regards to Jay Park's apology the group stated, "even with a difficult past, he dared to admit his mistakes and seek forgiveness, we can confirm that Jay Park has developed into a more mature person. We also feel that he is ready to show a better and more awesome image of himself to those fans who have given him infinite love".
